Senior Talent is OUTTA HERE

Straight Outta West G.

It’s that time of the year again: time for the Seniors to strap on their tap shoes, tune their instruments, and check the microphones. This year’s Senior Show is coming up soon on April 22nd! The show is a fundraiser for the 2016 After Prom where they hope to raise $2,000. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. and be held in the West Geauga Middle School gymnasium. Pre-sale tickets are $5 and will be on sale during lunch periods April 14th – thru – 22nd . They can also be purchased with a ticket form turned in to the high school office or by mailing the form and money to WG After Prom, PO Box 1014, Chesterland, OH 44026. Pre-paid tickets will be available at the Will Call. If, however, you do not pre-order your tickets you can purchase them at the door for $7.

Something different this year in regards to the show is the VIP aXess Party. This pass sells $100 and includes a premium front row table for 8 people. VIP’s gain early entrance at 6:30 p.m. and will receive drinks and snacks. They can mingle with the performers and have a great view of the show with plenty of elbow room in the “VIP only” area. Only 10 tables are available so reserve your table now!

One part that isn’t new, though, is that people can expect great singing, dancing, music, and more. The seniors have to try out for their spots and attend rehearsals, so the hard work they’ll put in (and their amazing talent) will make for a fantastic show.

Another way to get involved and help them raise money is with a program, “Shout Outta.” You can purchase a ¼ page “shout out” for $10, a ½ page “ad” for $15, and a full page for $30. You can give a “shout out” to your favorite senior with a message and an optional picture. Forms for this can be picked up in the high school main office and mailed to the WG After Prom mailbox. Make sure to have it in by the deadline on Wednesday, April 13th. Email the text and pictures, and any other questions, to Sally Contizano at [email protected]

The show is progressing steadily on its way to reality. They held their first meeting on March 8th and many seniors are already expressing interest. Approximately 10 to 12 groups and soloists attended and more will be forthcoming. There will definitely be plenty of talent to fill the night. The seniors are coming together to raise money for their After Prom, but they can’t do it without YOU. Every seat filled counts towards their goal, so buy your tickets now!
