The West Geauga girls varsity soccer team has had a mixed season with a record 6 – 5 – 4 to date. The team is headed by coach Mr. Joe DiLalla, who previously coached the junior varsity team for the past two years.

Led by senior captains K.C. Beckley and Hallie Brown, the team has done everything they could to achieve their record this year. They have successfully come together as a unit and overcome the obstacle of creating unity between each player. Mr. DiLalla explained, “I had a big vision of the team coming together. The more a team bonds and comes together, the more the team will play as a group and perform better.”

The team had set some lofty goals this year. DiLalla continued, “Of course we are going to try our hardest to win first in the CVC (Chagrin Valley Conference), and also go to district finals and become district champs.”

The road to those accomplishments continues today when they hope to defeat Orange at 5:00 at Orange High School.

Come out to support the Wolverines as they fight for their rightful spot in the standings of the CVC!
