Numerous students from our very own West Geauga High School have earned the privilege of competing in the State Science Fair at Ohio State University on May 10th.

In order to become eligible for this prestigious event, the students had to earn a rank of Superior at the District Science Fair, which was held at the University of Akron on March 15th. Congratulations to juniors Kirstin Boni, Patrick Drockton, Daniel Hartman, Lilly Makee and sophomore Opal Contizano for earning a spot at the State Science Fair.

Over 700 participants from the entire state of Ohio will present their projects to a panel of volunteer judges. This year there will be over 4 million dollars in scholarships and awards given away to students who are participating.

We wish them the best of luck in this prestigious competition.
