Gridiron Player Academics

The mission of the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association is to promote the highest standards in high school football: excellence and ethics in the coaching profession, academic excellence and achievement in the classroom, and fair competition on the playing field.

To qualify for this honor, the grade point average of the top 22 lettermen for each team was averaged and ranked. The grade point average of the lettermen was 3.672.

This marks the third time in a row that the football team has earned this honor. Head coach, Mr. Lou Cirino noted, “It’s all about the kids.  They’re the ones that earn the grades.  It’s all about them.  I’m so proud of them.”

Congratulations to the football team for this prestigious honor.

In addition, CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Cirino for being named Division III Coach of the Year !
