After previously coaching at Brush High School, Mr. Peter Mihu has high hopes for the girls volleyball team as they finish their season this year. Seniors Makayla Mollé, Annie Dolphin, and Meghan Dayringer have especially stood out to date. The other seniors on the team are Rachel Szczepinski and Olivia Pirosko. Mollé and Dolphin, captains, are happy with their season thus far. “Everyone has stepped up and played [her] hardest every game,” said Dolphin.

With a record of 17-6, the volleyball team has been successful so far this year in the regular season.

As of press time, the team is currently involved in the second round of the sectional tournament at Jefferson. The team defeated Streetsboro in Round I and will be playing the host Falcons in Round II.

On a closing note, Coach Mihu has some words for his team: “Play like you practice.”
